Relieve aches and pains naturally using natural medicine from the Garden.

Backaches, muscle cramps, and even heartburn are an everyday occurrence
for millions of Americans and if you’re one of the millions who suffers from
some type of pain and want something natural to relieve it, you’re in luck.

There are some foods (available at any grocery store) that can bring
blessed relief in a matter of weeks or even days.

The Foods:
a) Zucchini-
Are you a gardener who has an overabundance of green squash?
Well, if you have chronic pain, clean, blanch and freeze the extra squash.
Green squash is a natural pain reliever. It’s loaded with vitamin C, a nutrient
that helps relieve chronic pain. Researchers say that vitamin C, works by
producing opioid peptides that can influence the release of pain-relieving
neurotransmitters.

b) Mustard-
Yes, the yellow or light brown condiment can be a godsend to those who suffer
from muscle cramps. The strong flavor in mustard affects sensors in the throat
that sends signals to neurons linked to muscle function. This calms neurons
involved in muscle cramps, so future aches and pains are less painful.
More natural remedies: Pickle juice and sugar-free coconut water.

c) Corn-
Often given a bad rap as a food that’s too starchy and not good for you.
But, this isn’t true, and if you suffer from heartburn, then you may
want to eat it a few times a week. Corn is a high fiber food and this
fiber helps prevent the burn of acid reflux by allowing food to pass into the
stomach and keeping it there. Add a little fiber to your diet each week and
reduce heartburn symptoms by 50%.
Get fiber from the peels of certain fruits and vegetables, rice, potatoes,
beans, nuts, seeds and whole grains (bread).
Again, add a little more fiber to your diet slowly.
And lastly, watch the other foods that may be causing heartburn: white foods
(bread and other starches), fast food, processed foods, (convenience store
snack-foods) and sugary treats and beverages.

d) Berries-
Keep pain signals quiet with berries. Berries are packed with antioxidants
that inhibit the production of ATP, a substance that helps send pain signals
to the brain. Berries also keep free radicals from triggering the inflammation
that causes pain.

e) Cucumbers-
Another favorite during the summer time and if you’re dehydrated
and not drinking enough water, you can eat cucumbers. Dehydration
is common this time of year and it triggers a fluid and electrolyte
imbalance that causes brain tissue to shrink. Cucumbers are 95%
water and it’s the perfect food for preventing dehydration-related
headaches. (Migraines).

f) Salmon-
Another popular food this time of the year, especially cooked on
the grill. And if inflammation is your problem, then you may want
to eat more salmon (and other fatty fish). Regularly eating fatty
fish significantly reduces the risk of painful rheumatoid arthritis.
Other types of fatty fish: Tuna, sardines, mackerel, herring and trout.

That’s it, 6 foods to help you overcome and even avoid aches and
pains naturally.
