Well, if you’re undecided on what types of “adult beverages” to serve, let
us help.

Listed below, are recipes for three drinks that are seasonal and refreshing
and even more importantly-they’ll liven up any festive gathering.

The 3 Festive Beverages:
a) Peppermint Fizz-
If you’re a fan of chocolate and mint, then this is the drink for you.
To make:
Dip rims of 4 champagne flutes in simple syrup, then crushed candy canes;
invert the flutes. Dividing evenly, pour 2 oz. of peppermint vodka and 2 oz.
of creme de cacao into glasses. Top with champagne. Garnish the rim of
each glass with a candy cane.

2 more tips:
Simple syrup- is a 1:1 ratio of sugar dissolved in water.
Peppermint vodka- If you can’t find it at any wine shop or liquor store,
just set a candy cane (or two) into a glass of vodka and leave it alone
for a few hours.

b) French 75-
If the cold nights of December are getting to you, warm up with the ginger
that’s in this drink.
To make:
In a pot, cook 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 Tbs. of grated ginger and
1 tsp. of lemon zest until sugar dissolves. Strain, In Ice-filled cocktail shakers,
mix the simple syrup, 4 oz. of gin and 2 oz. of lemon juice. Cover, shake for 30
seconds. Strain into 4 flutes; top with champagne and lemon zest curls.
Serves 4.

c) Cranberry Mimosas-
For a wintertime take on a summer favorite, blend the festive flavor of
cranberry with lime juice.
To make: Simmer 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 rosemary sprigs
until sugar dissolves. Mix the simple syrup with 8 oz. of cranberry juice
and 1 oz. of lime juice. Pour into 4 flutes; top with prosecco*, rosemary
sprigs and cranberries.
Prosecco*- Italian or white wine
Serves 4.
