The Sweet Christmas Beverage That Boosts Health!
Medical researchers have said that wine, or a beer or even a shot of whisky
can bolster your health in a number of ways, but it’s not just alcohol that’ll
give you those benefits.
Eggnog, the rich and creamy dairy beverage that’s often badmouthed as
a fattening and not good-for-you drink, can also bolster your health.
Still not convinced?
Whether you add alcohol or not, it (eggnog) contains milk, which is loaded
with calcium, so every sip helps keep bones strong and lowers anxiety levels.
And the eggs, they contain protein and lutein, an antioxidant proven to prevent
vision problems, including macular degeneration. And don’t forget the small
smidgen of nutmeg, which helps end insomnia.
And lastly, if you add a small amount of alcohol- you’re extending your life by
an extra 1 to 3 yrs.
So, don’t be afraid of a glass (or two) at Christmas or the New Year, just
always refer back to this article if you’re feeling guilty about drinking it.
And for those who are a little more daring and want something more than
