Well, make the food a little healthier by making your own less sweeter condiments.

If you’re a fan of hotdogs, hamburgers, brisket and chicken wings, then
it’s okay to say that you’re a fan of condiments.

You know, ketchup, BBQ sauce and ranch dressing, but you must know
about be aware of the hidden dangers in these popular condiments.
Hidden dangers?
Yes, loads of sugar.

Scientists say that “hidden sugars” are to blame.
Plus, the scientists say that hidden sugar in popular condiments have
driven our intake of the sweet stuff by 2100%, fueling hunger and weight gain.

We’re taught that sugar is energy, but it’s really the opposite, as it
depletes energy and increases your risk of brain fog, depression and
Triglycerides.

So, if you want to save money, your waistline and your health, then
make your own lower calorie and less sweeter ketchup, BBQ sauce
and Ranch dressing, not sure how?

No problem, just look below for 3 recipes.

1) BBQ Sauce-
To make:
In a small saucepan, mix 1/4 small and grated yellow (or red) onion,
1 clove of garlic (grated), tomato paste 6 oz. 2 Tbs. of apple cider vinegar,
2 Tbs. of white vinegar, 2 Tbs. of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp. of chili powder,
1 tsp. of salt, 1 tsp. of black pepper, 1/2 tsp. of adobo sauce from a can of adobo
peppers, 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon and 1/3 cup of water. Boil; reduce heat and simmer
uncovered for 15 mins., stirring occasionally. Makes 1 1/2 cups. Seal and store
in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

b) Ranch Dressing-
To make:
Mix 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1 Tbs. of lemon juice,
1 Tbs. of onion flakes, 1 tsp. of onion powder, 1 tsp. of garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. of
salt and 1/4 tsp. of black pepper. Makes 1 cup. Store in the refrigerator for up to
3 days.

c) Ketchup-
This may be the most popular condiment in the U.S. and if you want
something healthier, here’s the recipe.
To make:
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 12 oz. of tomato paste, 1/2 cup of
white vinegar, 1 tsp. of onion powder, 1 tsp. of garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. of both
salt and pepper, 1/2 tsp. of Worcestershire sauce and 1/8 tsp. each of ground
cloves and ground mustard. Cover. Simmer on low for 15 mins. Makes 2 1/4
cups. Seal and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
