If you’re a woman who’s experiencing menopause and want to dramatically
reduce the bothersome symptoms, like hot flashes and insomnia,
all you have to do is head to your local grocery or produce store
and load up on fruits and vegetables.

Researchers asked a number of menopausal women to increase
their intakes of fruits and vegetables from 1 or 2 cups to 6 or more
cups.
And what were the results after increasing the amount of produce
in their diets?
The women had up to 75% fewer menopausal symptoms than
those who ate 1 or 2 cups .

Why the positive results?
Fruits and vegetables contain phytoestrogens, (powerful compounds),
that mimics estrogen in the body, which helps balance hormone levels and
alleviates the symptoms brought on by hormonal flux.

So, if you’re going through the horrible symptoms like hot flashes and
insomnia and want to forgo doctor-prescribed medicine, try increasing
the amount of produce in your diet.

Another tip:
If you’re not sure how to incorporate more produce into your diet or
how to make it more tasty, just head on over to youtube.com
and type recipes for fresh produce, or recipes for vegetables made
without fat or oils in the search bar.
