Winter may be trying to stick around a little bit longer in some parts of the country,
but just wait, you’ll be begging for those colder temperatures especially if you
have to deal with sneezing, coughing and congestion also known as allergies,
and if this describes you, then this herb from your garden or grocery store may
be the answer to your prayers.

If you’ve been suffering from seasonal allergies for years and your doctor only wants
to prescribe prescription meds or antibiotics, pass on them this year, and
try the green herb from your local grocery store or windowsill.
The herb:
Thyme.
Often added to oven-roasted potatoes or soups, many naturalists have used
thyme as a way to combat the sneezing, wheezing, sinus problems and
itchy and watery eyes for decades.

The herb has a long history of boosting immunity, soothing infections and
treating issues like bronchitis, laryngitis and phlegm.
And there’s more, thyme can also help you improve focus, boost energy
levels, ease coughing and respiratory issues and tame sinus pain.

So, if Spring allergies are like an unwanted relative who shows up each Spring (and Fall)
it’s time to go the natural route and buy some dried thyme, (to make tea with lemon
and honey)or look into buying some seeds and growing it in small pots and leaving
it on a windowsill where there’s plenty of sunshine.

And lastly, if the thyme does prove successful in treating your allergies, head online
to youtube.com and learn how to grow it, dry it and make tinctures from it.
