The Perfect Beverage For Stronger Bones!
Ladies, a new report says that more than half of women over the age of 50 have bone loss–
and the risk goes up after menopause, and if this concerns you, there are some simple
steps you can do right now to stay strong and keep your bones in tip-top shape.
The simple steps:
1) Stop Sitting!
Yes, you may have to sit for a few hours or many hours each day, but you don’t
have to stay seated the whole time. Sitting for hours on end, increases your odds of
getting osteoporosis.
To keep your bones from deteriorating, stand up every 20 to 30 minutes and do
a few stretches or walk around (in the office or your living room) for a few minutes.
2) Become a Child Again!
Simply put, if jumping rope was a part of your childhood, you may want to
take it up again. Women who jump for a minute (or two) have significantly stronger,
and denser bones than those who skipped the exercise.
Not a fan of jumping rope?
You can also get the same benefits just by jumping up and down without a rope,
for 15 to 20 seconds each day (twice a day).
Important tip:
If you haven’t exercised in awhile, you may want to start with walking in place
for a week or two first, and then add a jump (or two) to the walking.
3) Eat Like The French!
If you’ve given up cheese because of the fat or calories, you may want to do
exactly what French women do and put it back on the menu.
According to researchers, a small amount of good quality cheese each day can
create bones so strong, your risk of fractures goes down considerably.
Researchers say that we need vitamin D to absorb bone-building calcium and cheese
boasts both nutrients.

If you’re dead set against eating cheese, then you may want to eat the 2 foods listed

4) More Onions Please!
A 3 to 5 pound bag of onions will cost you a few dollars, and for those few, measly
dollars, you’ll get a “superfood” that’ll help build your bones and keep them strong.
Another food that’ll help you build and maintain strong bones-Dried Plums.
Also known as prunes. Eat a few each day to keep bones in tip-top shape.
5) An Adult Beverage For You!
Drinking a bottle of beer each day is shown to make bones stronger and thicker.
Beer is rich in silicon, a mineral that helps grow bones and connective tissue,
and it boasts estrogen-like compounds that reduce fracture risks.
Not a fan of beer? A shot of hard liquor (vodka on the rocks) or a glass of wine
each day (or evening) also offers the same bone-building benefits.
