We’re seeing a big drop in the number of CoVid 19 cases around
the U.S.
Some say it’s because it has affected more than 70 million people
already and then there are those who say it’s because of the
vaccine.

Well, if you and your family haven’t had the virus and want to
keep it that way, then you may want to load up your
grocery cart with the following items.

The items:
Eggs
Salmon* (canned or wild caught)
Sardines
Herring
Tuna
Cheddar Cheese (top quality)
Tomatoes (optional)
Gluten-free tortillas, or pita bread
salt (preferably Himalayan or sea)
Milk

*Salmon- wild caught salmon can be expensive,
so look for canned salmon, or tuna, or sardines
or canned herring.

Why these ingredients?
The eggs, (especially the yolks) salmon and the other
types of fish, cheese and milk are high in vitamin D,
and according to new research as many as 60% of
Americans are deficient in vitamin D.

Vitamin D readily available in these foods and the Sun,
help white blood cells destroy viruses, lowering the
risk of respiratory infection, by 55%.

Plus, vitamin D also helps boost the immune system,
and a strong immune system makes it harder for
viruses and other germs from entering your system.

So, if you’re a fan of eggs in the morning (or the evening)
make the following egg dish and lower your odds of
getting a cold, the flu or the Coronavirus.

Ingredients:
Salmon- 4 to 6 oz. use either canned or fresh
2 eggs, use the whole egg or just the yolks
white cheddar cheese, 2 Tbs.
1 fresh tomato- seeded and chopped
1 Tbs. of butter or extra-virgin olive oil
2 gluten-free tortillas or pita bread (warmed)

To make:
In a nonstick skillet, add the butter or extra-virgin
olive oil, cook salmon, (cut up into 1″ cubes) over
medium heat, until lightly browned.

Pour the milk into a bowl, add the eggs and beat for 30 seconds,
pour into the skillet, throw in the cheese, cook for one or two
minutes, or until the eggs are fluffy and no longer running.

And finish up by placing the egg, salmon, and cheese in
the wraps or pita bread, add the tomatoes and salt,
roll up or fold, slice in half and enjoy.
Enough for 2 servings.
