The Halloween Treats For Youthful Skin & Hair!
If you plan on trick and treating or throwing a party this year and get a nice bounty,
(a lot of candy) don’t eat it all.
Eating all of that sugar will not only cause weight gain and other
health problems, but it (candy) will also ruin your youthful good looks.
Sugar causes arteries, tissues and other organs to rapidly decline, making
you look older and worn out.
But hold on, there’s a way for you to use a sweet treat and enhance your looks.
What is it?
Wear the sweet treat.
Wear it?
Yes, mix up some ingredients that are used to make America’s favorite candies
and turn back the clock by 5 or more years.
A makeup artist who works in Hollywood California, uses ingredients
that are used to make candy to help clients take years off their
faces, necks and scalps, (hair) and if you’re a little daring and want to
look more youthful and rested, just use the following sweet treat recipes
listed below.
Recipe No. 1-
Caramel Face Peel-
Bothered by age spots?
Not anymore, thanks to caramel and its main ingredient: brown sugar.
The glycolic acid in brown sugar’s (chewy caramel’s main ingredient) promotes
new skin cell growth while its gentle granules exfoliate dead, dry skin–together
diminishing brown spots. And the other ingredients: lemon juice acts like a
mild type of bleach and egg whites repair damaged skin, which makes skin look
spotless in record time.
To make:
Mix 1 egg white, 1 1/2 Tbs. of brown sugar and 2 tsp. of lemon juice.
Sit or lie back and apply to skin (age spots) with a cotton ball. Leave
on for 5 mins. and then rinse off with warm water.
Recipe No. 2-
Candied Apple Scrub-
Have rough dry spots on your feet and/or elbows?
Use a childhood favorite known as a candied apple.
Apples contain malic acid, which gently scrubs away parched skin
to reveal healthy skin underneath.
To make:
Mix 1/4 cup of applesauce, 3 Tbs. 3 Tbs. of brown sugar and 1 Tbs. of
almond oil. Step into a shower and dampen the skin, and massage this
apple scrub over the rough patches on your body. After that, turn on the
shower and rinse off.
Recipe No. 3-
A Chocolate Mask-
If you’re a chocolate lover this mask may be a little too tempting,
but restrain yourself and think of the end results: fewer wrinkles
and smoother skin.
Cocoa powder has antioxidants that restore skin’s elasticity, while its
fatty acids help rid the complexion of fine lines and creases.
And the olive oil, hydrates the skin, which helps fill in those fine lines.
To make:
Mix 2 Tbs. of cocoa powder, 1 Tbs. of honey and 1 Tbs. of olive oil.
Sit back or lie back and apply to dry skin and leave on for 15 minutes.
Recipe No. 4-
Peppermint Patty-
Another childhood favorite, but avoid eating it and apply it to slow-growing hair.
Menthol in peppermint increases circulation, delivering hair-growing nutrients
to follicles for faster hair growth. And the coconut oil- hydrates and plumps up hair
follicles.
To make:
Mix 2 Tbs. of coconut oil and 6 drops of peppermint essential oil and then apply
to damp hair from roots to ends. Leave on for 20 minutes and then rinse out
with warm water.
More tips:
Use all of these beauty masks, scrub and hair conditioner with care.
You may want to do a skin test (apply to the top of your hand or inside the wrist)
and see how the skin reacts. If your skin turns beet red and itches, you may want
to avoid that beauty mask or scrub.
Another tip: Do the beauty treatment when you have some time off, that way if there’s
a little redness, you’ll be in the safety and comfort of your own home.
One last tip:
If your skin is already thin and fragile, you may want to avoid the scrub.
