Yes, you’re probably aware of the things you should be doing to ward off colds
and flu during the fall and winter months.
Things like getting more vitamin C, eating healthier (less processed food,
fast foods and cutting way down on sweets and sweet beverages),
getting adequate sleep, etc.
But did you know about the green Rx to keep you healthier?

The green Rx?
Yes, as in broccoli, cabbage, arugula, Bok choy, collards, Brussels sprouts
and cauliflower (a white veggie). And what do all of these vegetables have in
common?
They’re all cruciferous and these particular vegetables have molecules in them
that attach to proteins that line your blood vessels, which helps create a barrier
that stops viruses from invading your cells.

So, adding more of these vegetables to your daily menus can ensure you create
a fortress-like system that can block even the most determined viruses from getting
into your cells and keep you cold and flu-free the entire winter system.

And one more tip:
If you’re not a fan of these vegetables and don’t usually cook them, you may
want to go to youtube.com and type recipes for cabbage (stuffed cabbage),
collard greens (collards with smoked turkey), Brussels sprouts, (Brussels sprouts
with bacon) and Cauliflower, (Cauliflower pizza or cauliflower rice dishes) in the
search bar.

Good Luck!
