The fall and winter holidays will soon be here and if you include more dark chocolate
and cocoa in your daily menus, give yourself a pat on the back.
Not only are they (dark choc. and cocoa) good for your heart and waistline, they
can also help you stay young.

Stay young?
Yes, listed below are 3 tips for using the sweet treats to keep you young.

Tip No. 1-
Smoother Skin-
If thinning skin and wrinkles are a concern, grab some cocoa.
Antioxidants in cocoa powder renew skin cells to soften rough spots,
while its fatty acids moisturize.
To make a youth-enhancing beauty product-stir 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa
powder into 1 cup of full-fat milk (its Lactic acid exfoliates), then pour
into your bathwater; soak for 15 mins. Not up to taking a cocoa-milk bath?
Wipe the mixture on your face and neck, sit or lie back and leave on for
15 mins. After that, rinse it off with warm water.

Tip No. 2-
Help For Thinning Hair-
Luscious locks are wanted by both men and women and if your crown
of glory is starting to thin, get out the cocoa. Compounds in cocoa-called
procyanidins shift hair follicles into an active phase, prolonging hair’s
growth cycle so strands grow fuller. To make a hair mask, mix 2 Tbs. of
unsweetened cocoa powder and 2 Tbs. of coconut oil. Massage this
combo into your scalp, sit back and leave on for 15 to 20 mins.
Rinse out after 15 mins. with warm water.
Important tip: If you plan on using this hair mask a few times a week,
you may want to remove the oil (and cocoa) with a clean towel or paper
towels first. Using this tip means you won’t be putting the oil down your
drains, which could them (the drains) to become clogged.

c) Reducing Fine Lines-
Before heading off and getting Botox, try the dark chocolate trick first.
Eating a little bit of op quality each day increases your skin’s wrinkle-
plumping hydration levels by 30% in less than 4 months. Dark chocolate
contains flavanols, which replenish moisture and spur new collagen
production. Not sure which dark chocolate is best? Head to google.com
and type best quality dark chocolate on the market in the search bar.
