For a lot of families out there, now is the time to pack up the family and head to the
great outdoors to do some camping.
And if you’re a family that travels to a campsite that’s far, far away or if you
just set up a tent in the backyard, just make sure to bring the necessary
items for a campfire and the ingredients for the American staple known
as S’mores.

S’mores? Why?
Whether you’re topping your favorite bowl of Ice cream with some
chocolate or using that chocolate to make Smores, you’ll be doing some
great things for your health, especially your heart health.
Eating about 2 to 3 oz. a day of good quality dark choc.
reduces blood-vessel stiffness by about 80%, plus it makes your
arteries more supple, about 75% more supple.
Scientists say that good quality chocolate (cocoa) contains flavanols, which
relax and widen blood vessels.

So, if you plan on camping out this Summer or staying in and watching Lifetime
or Hallmark movies, buy the ingredients for S’mores and then make them outdoors
on a campfire or in your oven, and give yourself and your family a gift.
The gift: A more supple and youthful heart.
