The Best Natural Rxs For Better Circulation!
Are you sitting more due to the pandemic?
Whether you’re sitting more because of
Co-Vid-19, age or a job, you may want to take
some time and read this post.
According to recent research, all of that sitting is
wreaking havoc on your circulation.
You probably don’t think about circulation, but
you should, improving it can keep your heart, skin
and energy levels in tip top shape.
Not sure how to go about improving it (circulation)?
Well, continue reading and learn the simple and
effective ways to improve your circulation, (blood flow)
easily and effortlessly.
a) Exercise-
The old adage “move it or lose it” can be applied to circulation
as well, sit too long and you may literally lose your life.
And now the good news: Exercise for 5 minutes at a time and
you’ll get the same benefits as those who exercise for hours.
Researchers say that moving for even a few minutes,
sends nourishing blood flow to all parts of the body.
So, if you’ve been avoiding exercise because you felt you don’t
have the time, this news dispels that, scrub your tub
for a few minutes, or scrub your floor and walls for 5 minutes,
or walk in place while watching your favorite T.V. show or
do jumping jacks and squats or put on some music and dance
for 5 minutes.
One last tip: Don’t think of it (exercise) as a chore, think of
it as improved circulation and hopefully-a longer life.
b) A Breathing Tip-
You may already know about the benefits of taking deep
breaths, but you may not be aware of the things it can do
for your circulation.
Breathing deeply reduces stress hormones (cortisol). Cortisol
causes blood vessels to constrict and blood pressure to rise,
and this makes it harder for your blood to circulate to
the major arteries.
So, to reduce your cortisol levels, simply inhale through
your nose as you count to seven. Hold that breath for
7 seconds and slowly exhale as you count for 7 seconds.
Now on to the food options that boost circulation.
c) Garlic-
Ah, another win for the pungent vegetable known as garlic,
it’s considered a safer and less expensive blood thinner.
To make it more effective at improving blood flow…
peel and mince it, and let it sit out for 10 to 15
minutes before adding it to a stew, soup or
a baked dish. One clove a day, boosts blood flow
within a week.
Important tip:
Garlic can thin out the blood and if your on a blood thinner
or plan on going through some type of surgery, you may
want to pass on this tip.
d) Drink Up-
If your a fan of wine, continue to drink it.
A glass of wine a day, (only 1), fights off the free radicals
that stiffens veins and slows blood flow.
Give credit to resveratrol, a “super” antioxidant that
improves circulation and even repairs damage to
blood vessels.
And for those who don’t drink, get the same benefits
by drinking grape juice (good quality juice) and club soda.
e) Water Please-
Simply drinking more water can help improve circulation.
Dehydration can cause a host of problems and poor
circulation is a major problem.
Five to six glasses of water each day is plenty. You can also
get hydrated by eating more fruit.
Eat watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers, honeydew
melons, citrus, tomatoes and grapes (red and purple).
f) Herbal Rx-
If you just use parsley as a garnish for a dish, you
may want to change that and actually start
eating it.
Why?
Researchers tested all types of vegetables, spices and
herbs and found that parsley was the most effective at
preventing the blood from clotting. Add parsley to
smoothies, salads, soups, eggs, and stews.
And one more bit of exciting news: A group of
doctors said that drinking some grape juice and
eating parsley may extend your life by a few years.
The doctors weren’t sure why, but thanks to this recent
news, it may be because it boosts circulation.
