Turn back the clock on your Lungs!

Thank God, a lot of people have gotten the message about smoking
and have quit, but many are now suffering from serious health conditions like
emphysema, C.O.P.D. and other breathing issues and if this is you or a loved
one, then you may want to follow the diet that offers you and your lungs some
blessed relief.


The Diet: A plant-based diet.
Yes, another post touting the benefits of going plant-based, but not for
weight loss or looking younger, but for healthier lungs and better breathing.

Scientists say eating a plant-based diet may lower emphysema and other
breathing problems.
Why this diet?
Plants are typically packed with fiber, vitamins and nutrients that tame
lung inflammation and remove toxins that open up airways caused by
decades of smoking.

More good news:
The researchers recommended this diet some 20 years ago
and have followed a number of ex-smokers for years and have
found that those who stuck to this type of diet quickly alleviated
their breathing problems quickly and others were able to lower their
risk of ever developing emphysema or C.O.P.D. by 55%.

So, if you yourself or know someone who is suffering from lung or
breathing problems, perhaps following a plant-based diet may be all
the medicine you need.
