When it comes to brain health, i.e. dementia, brain fog and even Alzheimer’s
health professionals always recommended blueberries as the best berry to
stave off the brain damaging diseases, well today, there’s a new kid (berry) on
the block, that may also protect the brain from the ravages of aging.

The Berry:
Strawberries!
The researchers say that strawberries contain plenty of vitamin C and pelargonidin,
two antioxidants that are key to preventing brain-cell damage that can lead to fogginess,
forgetfulness and slower reaction time.

Another benefit of strawberries:
They can help you process information faster and remember more of the information
you do take in. In other words, if you need to study for a big test, eat some strawberries
before studying.

So, if you’ve been eating tons of blueberries in the hopes you’ll get smarter and keep
your brain in tip-top shape, go ahead and add some strawberries to your daily menus.
Another tip:
Make sure to clean fresh strawberries thoroughly, as their skin can hold onto
to the very toxic and dangerous pesticides that are sprayed on them.
Use some hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, lemon juice or plain white vinegar
along with 1 or 2 cups of water for 15 mins. and then rinse off with cool
water.
