As we Americans get older, a lot of us are concerned about brain health,
bone health, heart health and vision health.

Yes, a lot of people are concerned about their vision just as they are concerned
about the other things that happen as one ages and according to some recent
research, you can keep your vision sharp well into your golden years.

How, you ask?
Make sure you get plenty of the nutrient duo-lutein and zeaxanthin.

That’s right, these 2 nutrients can also help you see through “atmospheric haze,”
where dust, smoke and pollutants obscure far-away vision.
And there’s more- the two nutrients even improve your ability to see through
glare and bright lights too.

So, if you and your loved ones are worrying about vision loss, you may want
to start adding the above mentioned nutrients to your daily menus, and no-
you don’t have to spend money on the nutrients, instead head to your local
grocery store or farmer’s market and pick up leafy greens, yellow and orange
vegetables and eggs (mainly the yolks) and you’ll keep your vision sharp
for years to come.

One last reminder:
Buy some kale, green and yellow squash, carrots and eggs and make a
veggie and egg casserole in the stove or get out the skillet and stir-fry
the veggies and then add some eggs (especially the yolks) during the
last minute or two to keep your vision sharp well into the future.
