Grill Veggie Burgers for the Fourth of July!

More and more Americans are opting to go completely meat-less (vegetarian)
or eat it (meat) a few times a week.

And for those who don’t want to spend a few dollars on an overly processed
and tasteless veggie burger, here’s a simple “meatless” burger recipe that not
only tastes great, but is inexpensive to boot.

The recipe for the Beanie-Veggie Burger!
Ingredients:
2 cans of black beans, (rinsed and drained)
1 cup of panko bread crumbs
3 Tbs. of Steak seasoning
2 Tbs. of Worcestershire sauce or ketchup or salsa
1/2 cup of chopped onions, or 2 garlic cloves-minced (optional)

To make: Pour 1/2 the beans into a blender and pulse.
Side note: If you have a food processor, then go ahead and toss
in both cans of beans.
If using a blender- remove the beans and place in a bowl.
Add the 2nd can of beans and pulse; add the bread crumbs, onions
and steak seasoning. Pulse until blended. Add to the bowl of beans
and mix well. Form into patties and cook on top of the stove in a non-stick
pan for 3 mins. each side. Or cook outside on the grill, 3 minutes each side.
After that, place the veggie burgers on the buns and add the toppings of
your choice.
Fresh onion slices, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, mustard, ketchup,
vegan cheese slices, etc.

That’s it, a simple recipe for a homemade veggie burger.
Enjoy!
