Enjoy slimming Dips with Chips.

If dips are part of your meal plans, then you may want to make one or all of the
following dips listed below.

These quick-prep dips deliver all of the savory flavor you crave along with
one big health perk. What is it? The dips will help you lose weight or maintain
weight, granted you don’t go overboard with the chips and other fattening foods.

The 3 Dips!
1) White-Bean Guacamole-
If you love beans over rice or beans added to soups, then you’ll surely love this
dip. The beans add filling fiber and contain a compound that blocks carb
absorption.
To make:
In a food processor or blender, puree 2 avocados, 1 can of white beans, (rinsed
and drained), 2 Tbs. of lime juice, 1/4 cup of olive oil and 2 Tbs. of chopped bell
peppers. Blend until all ingredients are smooth.
To eat this dip, make sure to use baked, gluten-free chips, or cut-up
vegetables, (celery sticks, carrots or zucchini).

2) Greek Yogurt Ranch-
It’s not only a great dressing for your salad, it also works as a dip.
And in terms of weight loss, this tangy dip contains half the fat and
calories of traditional mayo-based ranch, plus it delivers probiotics
shown to fire up fat burning by 30%.
To make:
In a bowl, mix 2 cups of Greek yogurt, 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. of garlic
powder, 1 Tbs. of chopped dill and 1 Tbs. of minced chives. Season with
salt and pepper.

3) Zesty Black Bean-
Turn off fat storage by eating this dip a few times a week. Polyphenols in this
lightened-up bean dip activate genes that block the formation of new fat cells,
cutting the risk of weight gain.
To make:
In a blender, blend 1 can of black beans (rinsed and drained), 1 seeded jalapeno,
1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, 2 Tbs. lime juice and 1/4 cup of olive oil until smooth.
Important tip: If you have a small blender, you may have to put in half of the beans,
blend and then add the rest of the beans and finish blending. Or if you have a food
processor-use it instead.
