Stop spending hours in the kitchen.

If time is of the essence and you don’t have much of it, especially
when it comes to preparing meals, here are some meals (breakfast,
dinner and snacks) that literally only take minutes.

Quick Meal No. 1-
Breakfast-
Savory Pastries-
You’ll need- 1 box of Puff pastry sheets, 2 cups of cheddar,
1 egg for each pastry square.
To make: Place the pastry squares on a baking sheet, sprinkle
each pastry with cheese, crack open an egg and place it on the
pastry square and bake for 10 to 12 mins. at 350*F.
Keep an eye on them as some ovens cook faster.

Quick Meal No. 2-
Breakfast or Brunch-
Tasty and Decadent Croissants!
To make:
Unroll a package of crescent rolls, spread each roll with pesto,
add roasted red pepper and roll up the rolls and bake at 375*f
for 8 to 10 minutes.
Another tip: You can also place a piece of cooked sausage, tomato
sauce and cheese or cooked bacon and eggs for future meal ideas.


Quick Meal No. 3-
Dinner-
Chicken Stir-Fry!
To make:
Get out the skillet, heat it up on medium-high heat, add 2 Tbs. of
oil (avocado or olive) throw in a package of coleslaw
add 2 cups of shredded chicken (from a leftover chicken
or buy a rotisserie chicken, add seasonings,
(salt, ginger powder, turmeric, and black pepper) and a few Tbs. of
soy sauce. Stir-fry until heated through.

Quick Meal No. 4-
Lunch or Dinner-
Fish Tacos!
Don’t go to food trucks on “Taco Tuesday” and waste money
on fish tacos, make them at home.
To make:
Bake 1 box of fish sticks or cakes, in a bowl, add one package of coleslaw,
and a little vinegar, salt and pepper. microwave 6 tortillas for 20
to 30 seconds. Divide cut up fish sticks and coleslaw among the tortillas.

Quick Meal No. 5-
Snack or Lunchtime treat-
Homemade Peanut Butter Cups!
To make:
Mix 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter with 2 Tbs. of dark honey or
pure maple syrup, melt some dark chocolate (from a bar) in the
microwave. Pour some of the chocolate into a pre-coated (with Pam)
muffin tin, add the peanut butter and honey and then add a little more
chocolate to form the top layer. Makes 6 to 8 cups. Place the muffin tin
in the refrigerator for a few hours or an hour in the freezer.

Quick Meal No. 6-
A snack, or meal for lunch or after dinner treat-
Quick Fruit Salad!
To make:
Mix together 4 cups of fruit, (buy a bag of mixed fruit or buy
some fresh fruit and cut it up), add 1 or 2 cups of plain or lemon
yogurt, and 1/2 cup of lite Mayonnaise. Toss for 30 seconds
and place in a bowl (or bowls).

That’s it, Meals in a flash for those who rather be doing something other
than spending hours slaving over a hot stove.
