If you’re tuning into the biggest game of the year (the Super Bowl) and would
like some tips on how to throw a successful party, you’ve come to the right
place (blog).
Allow us to give you some tips on how to make it (the party) a guaranteed
success.

Tip No. 1-
Bring The Tailgate Home-
If you’re familiar with tailgates, then you should be able to navigate your way
through some of the things to make (your party) a success.
To start- cover a table with a brown tablecloth topped with a green football
field runner. Go to TableclothsFactory.com and order one.
Plus you can place handheld eats on tiered stands, cake plates and crates
of various heights so guests can easily fill up their plates.
The finishing touch? A Game-Time banner. To make your own, use large
white craft-store stickers to jot down a football-inspired saying on a gray
poster-board.

Tip No. 2-
Give Guests a Sweet Treat-
For a tasty favor guests are sure to love and remember-add some stick-on
decals to mini burlap bags and fill them with M&M’s in the team’s
(who are playing) colors.
You can find small burlap bags at craft stores.

Tip No. 3-
Bring In The Flowers-
It may be a little expensive, but fresh-cut flower never fail
to make a get-together feel special and you can make this
football-themed arrangement for pennies. Simply fill a slim glass vase
with a few handfuls of hazelnuts or acorns to (resemble mini-footballs),
then add a few supermarket Chrysanthemums in bright colors (to resemble
cheerleader pompoms). Place the arrangements wherever you need a pop
of color and brightness.

Tip No. 4-
Make Food The Star-
Whether you make your own cake pops or pick them up at the bakery, it’s
quite easy to give them a game-day theme. Just turn each treat upside down
and cover the stick with a mini foam finger. Then place snacks or condiments
on a football-themed tray. Look for foam fingers at OrientalTrading.com and
the trays can also be purchased there.

Tip No. 5-
Let The Drinks Chill-
An Ice bucket that’s decorated to look like the gridiron
keeps bottles of beer or soda cold and in easy reach
and adds an unexpected touch to your party–it’s guaranteed to
impress. To make an ice bucket, cover a galvanized tub with craft-store
spray adhesive and wrap the outside with a length of floral moss.
Finish by tying a bow around the turf and filling the tub with ice and drinks.

And here are 3 more tips to making this year’s Super Bowl the best party ever.
* Serve a Stadium Staple-
Simplify your menu by making one food the main entree.
It could be sliders (hamburger or turkey) or hot dogs.
And to make it easier to cook them, you can place the burgers or hot dogs
on sheet pans and cook in the oven, or stack them in the crockpot and
turn on high for an hour or two. Dress either the hot dogs or burgers in a
bun and then place in a foil bag to keep them warm.
You can find foil bags at Walmart- 50 bags for $10.

* Don’t Forget The Cocktails-
Beer is a must-have for a Super bowl party, and if you have guests
that like a combo beer and cocktail drink, here’s a recipe that’s sure
to impress them. The recipe: Muddle 1 cup of fresh or frozen
blackberries with a 1/2 cup of lemon juice in the bottom of a pitcher.
Stir in 3 or 4 bottles of a pale wheat beer like (Samuel Adams
Coastal Wheat). Divide among 6 Ice-filled glasses and serve.

* Do This During The Commercials-
If you and your guests really enjoy the commercials,
you may want to play a game that’s all about those commercials.
The game: Print out cards with entries for funniest, strangest, coolest and
other categories. Come game time, ask guests to write in their top picks
and add comments. After the game, tally up the scores and announce
which spots are the night’s winners.
