in more trail mix or something sweeter, candy.
So, avoid the energy peaks and valleys and enjoy one long
burst of energy with the following recipe.

2 to 3 cup of fresh air-popped popcorn (allow to cool)
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of slivered almonds
1/4 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of peanuts, (salted or unsalted)
1/4 cup of dried pineapple
To make:
In a large bowl, toss all of the ingredients together, stir well
and store in 6 small plastic bags or a large airtight container.

And now, an explanation of the ingredient listed and how they boost
energy levels.
* Popcorn-
A complex carb that fills you up and is the body’s top source
of fuel and fiber.
* Cinnamon-
Replaces the sweet taste you get from sugar and helps prevent
energy-sapping blood-sugar peaks and valleys.
* Almonds-
A good source of monounsaturated fat, which provides you
with long-lasting energy.
* Peanuts-
Contains L-arginine, fats and protein, a trio that helps control blood flow.
* Raisins-
Often mistaken for a junk food, raisins (like meat) are packed with iron,
which boosts oxygen levels.
*Pineapple-
Contains manganese and thiamin, nutrients that produce
energy within cells.
Important tip- Make sure you read the label when buying dried pineapple.
