and calories, hear us out and let us explain why you should partake.

Yes, pretzels do contain gluten, but they’re also loaded with filling fiber-
a type of fiber that fills you up quickly and helps prevent you from attacking
the refrigerator at midnight.
Eat a few pretzels if you find yourself tempted to head to a vending machine
to buy a Snicker’s bar, or bag of Reese’s Pieces or a bag of Lay’s potato chips.

And there’s one more benefit:
Are you one who gets stressed out easily or filled with anxious thoughts?
Well, believe or not, pretzels contain antioxidants that help you alleviate
both stress and anxiety.

So, if these 2 health tips are enough to convince you to eat a few pretzels this
holiday season, here’s a recipe for pretzels that will not only spread Christmas joy
but eating joy as well.

The Recipe:
Christmas Season Pretzel Wreaths!
Ingredients:
60 whole-wheat pretzel twists
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
Assorted Sprinkles
1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
To make:
On rack set on top of baking sheet, arrange 5 pretzels in a circle.
Repeat 5 times. In heat-proof bowl, microwave dark choc. chips
in 30-second intervals until melted; spoon around the inner edge
of 3 circles. Top each circle with 5 more pretzels, staggering to form
wreath shapes. Spoon remaining dark choc. around inner edge.
Decorate with sprinkles as desired.
Step No. 2-
In heat-proof bowl, microwave the white choc. in 30 sec. intervals until
melted; spoon around inner edge of remaining 3 pretzel circles. Top each
with 5 pretzels; spoon remaining white choc. over inner edge. Decorate
with sprinkles as desired.
Chill the wreaths 1 hour or until set.
