Bathe your way to better health!

Whenever we have an ache or pain, need to lower our blood pressure or get rid
of frequent headaches, what does the medical professionals and Big Pharma
recommend?
Pills!

If you would like to try something natural before going the pill route, perhaps
we can interest you in water.
Drinking water?
No, water to bathe in.

Long before medicine was invented for our various ailments and illnesses,
most people relied on natural remedies, be they food, prayer, breath work
or baths. And today, some alternative healers say lets get back to the times
we used natural methods to heal what ails us and today that natural method
is a warm bath.

a) Remove Excess Weight-
Before diet pills and extreme low calorie diets there was Epsom salts.
Add 1 cup of magnesium-rich epsom salt to a bath.
A bath with epsom salt in it may be just as effective as exercise at prompting
muscles to burn sugar for fuel and thanks to the magnesium-you’ll boost fat-burn,
and effortlessly shed a pound every two weeks.
Epsom salts pt.ll- some researchers say that in addition to losing excess weight,
you can also slow down the aging of your body by taking baths with epsom salts.
The magnesium- not only torches excess fat, it can also reduce the appearance of fine
lines (not deep wrinkles) and keep skin hydrated, which leads to smoother and softer skin.

b) Bye Bye Knee Pain-
Bathe with sesame oil.
You thought it (sesame oil) was only good for lowering blood pressure, but not so, it
can also cut stiffness by 30% in less than 20 mins. and by 60% if done on a daily basis.
Warm water boosts blood flow to sore joints, and the oil tamps down the production
of pain-triggering compounds.
Another tip: While sitting in the tub or after drying off, heat up a small amount of
sesame oil and massage it into the painful knee (s).

c) Stop This Headache-
If you’re prone to frequent headaches and are tired of using over-the-counter meds,
place 1/2 cup of dried rosemary in a pot of boiling water, simmer and steep. After that
strain it and then add it to your bathwater.
Rosemary scented baths could cut headache pain by 75% in 20 mins. plus halve your
risk of future headaches if you indulge about 4 times weekly.
Hot water relaxes neck and scalp muscles and rosemary clams pain nerves.

d) End That Cold-
It may seem difficult to step into a bath during a cold, but if you want to trim a few
days off of that cold, then you must take one with Eucalyptus.
It (eucalyptus) is a germ-killing and immunity boosting plant that could trim
4 days off your recovery time.
Look for Eucalyptus-infused Epsom salts, available at any Walmart, Shoprite
or pharmacy.

e) Lower Blood Pressure-
You may be familiar with the lavender plant (essential oil) as a way to help you get
to sleep and stay asleep, but did you know it can also help lower blood pressure?
Add 10 drops of lavender oil to a warm bath and you could lower your blood pressure
by 10 to 15 points, cutting your heart attack risk in half. A rise in core temperature
prompts the release of artery-relaxing chemicals, while lavender lowers the stress
hormones (cortisol) in your body.

f) Drink Up-
Another important tip: As you may know, bathing in warm water can prompt your
kidneys to excrete 90% more fluids over the next hour–so make sure to drink 6 to
8 oz. of water right after to help you replenish and rehydrate.

g) One Last Tip-
You can make the baths much more effective by doing a few things like-removing
overly processed, sugary and white carbs from your diet. Get a little exercise, engage
in fun activities, listening to old -school music on youtube, playing board games
with family and friends and laughing more, watch reruns of the Golden Girls,
Seinfeld or Rodney Dangerfield specials on classic television networks.
