Healthy Fish Recipe For Women

Ladies, if you’re done having babies it’s still
wise to keep your uterus and ovaries in good shape.
Why?
They can continue to secrete disease-fighting
proteins.

And the problems that are most common:
Endometriosis and Fibroids.
Luckily, you can keep your female organs
healthy with some foods available at any grocery store.

Listed below is a great recipe and the foods to add to
this week’s grocery list.

The recipe: Grilled Caesar Fish Steaks!
Ingredients:
2 lbs. white fish- (haddock, cod or halibut, 1′ thick)
1/3 cup + 2 Tbs. Caesar salad dressing
24 romaine lettuce leaves
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Croutons- optional
———————————————————-
To make:
Place fish in shallow baking dish.
Drizzle with 1/3 cup of salad dressing,
cover and refrigerate 1 hour, turning once.
Remove from marinade (throw marinade out)
Prepare grill for direct heat cooking for medium
heat with grill rack 4 to 5 inches above heat source.
Coat grill rack with cooking spray, place fish on
rack. Grill, turning once, 6 to 10 minutes each side,
and use the remaining salad dressing to coat
both sides of the fish. When the fish is
done, it should flake easily.
Divide up the lettuce leaves on 6 plates and place
one piece of fish on the lettuce leaves and
then sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
Serves 6.

Now, here are the benefits you’ll get from the fish, cheese
and lettuce.

a) Fish-
White fish is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids.
And these fatty acids intensify your immune system’s
ability to fight off cancerous cells before they can grow
and spread.
b) Dairy-
It’s a bad word in many American households, but good quality
milk, cheese or yogurt can help you reduce your risk of
getting endometriosis by 20%.
Dairy’s balanced blend of calcium, protein and milk fats
help the uterine lining grow and shed normally each month,
so the excess tissue doesn’t build up in the pelvic area of
women who are still menstruating.
c) Greens-
Avoid fibroids- benign uterine tumors- at any cost.
Why? They’re the leading cause of hysterectomies.
Greens contain compounds that help your liver quickly
excrete fibroid-fueling excess estrogen.
d) More Vitamin D-
Another way to prevent ever getting a hysterectomy:
Make sure you’re getting adequate amounts of vitamin D-3.
Ask your doctor to check your vitamin D-3 levels.
And don’t the forget the Sun it’s a great source of natural
vitamin D, sit or lie out in the Sun,
15 to 20 mins. a day without sunscreen.
e) Take A Walk-
If you’re experiencing painful periods, make sure to
get 20 to 30 minutes of exercise daily.
Do yoga, pilates or take walks in the park.
Exercise increases the flow of blood to and from the
pelvis. Plus, it can also reduce the estrogen production
that can fuel the growth of fibroids, endometriosis and
cancers.
f) Drink Up-
Black, green or oolong tea. Drink a few cups of tea each day.
Tea contains tissue-nourishing compounds that rev your
defenses against cancers, fibroids and other hormone-triggered
woes.
