Detox for the Summer season!

According to new research, a compound called Glutathione that’s produced in
the liver removes toxins from the body.
But that’s not all this compound does, it can also boost energy levels, sharpen
focus, slow down the aging process and much more and it’s so effective,
researchers are now calling it the “master detoxifier.”

So, if you just want to clear out some of the sludge from your liver
or do a major overhaul and really remove the toxins that have built up
over the past 4 or 5 months, (Eating rich and decadent foods), then you
must do the tips listed below.

a) Get Outside-
And exercise. We’re not talking about 30 minute jogs or weightlifting for an
hour, just strolling in the backyard or through a farmer’s market will suffice.
Exercise activates enzymes that aid in glutathione production, raising levels
of the compound by 110%.
Not able to get outside and casually walk? No problem, turn on your laptop,
go to youtube.com and look for indoor walking videos.

b) Supplemental Help-
If your diet isn’t up to par, you may need to add a supplement to your daily
regimen. Look for the supplement: Liposomal Glutathione.
When glutathione is encased by liposomes, (fatty compounds), it’s protected
from stomach acids and will work better for you.
Supplement to look for: Core Med Science Liposomal Glutathione, 500 mg. per
day, available online at Amazon.com.
Important tip: Make sure to ask your health-care provider about this
supplement before taking it.

c) Get Some Vitamin C-
Researchers say that increasing vitamin C can lift glutathione levels
by up to 85% in about six weeks. The vitamin helps the body recycle
glutathione to safeguard against shortfalls.
Save your money and avoid the vitamin at local drugstores or shopping
centers and just buy kiwi (aim for 2 a day), oranges, clementines,
guava, cantaloupe, acerola cherries, broccoli, and bell peppers.

d) Spice of Life-
If you’re eating turmeric, continue to do so and you can increase
glutathione production by 50% in less than eight weeks.
The curcumin that gives turmeric its bright color is loaded with
compounds that fight the cells damage that can hamper glutathione
levels. Enjoy more dishes (like the one below) by sprinkling turmeric
on meat dishes, stir-fries, popcorn, rice dishes, and hummus.
Another tip: make sure you add pepper to the turmeric, it (the
pepper) helps you absorb more of the turmeric.
