No need to get the high calorie Alfredo sauce at Olive Garden anymore, just make your
own healthier version at home.

Millions of people love Alfredo sauce on top of their pasta, what they don’t love is the unhealthiness
and high calories in the sauce, so we looked around and found a low-calorie alternative that comes
from a famous chef.
The famous chef: Rachael Ray.

Here’s her low calorie, healthy spin on the sauce.
Her secret: She uses olive oil mixed with flour and 2% milk for the butter and heavy cream.
To make:
In a skillet, cook 2 cloves of chopped garlic and 1 Tbs. of sage in 2 Tbs. of olive oil until
fragrant. Stir in 2 Tbs. of flour; cook for 2 mins. Stir in 1 cup of fat-free chicken broth, 1/2
cup of 2% milk, 1/4 tsp. of pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Cook until thick. Stir in
3/4 cup of Parmesan and serve over a hot plate of Fettuccine.
