Sweets For Your Sweet-Heart This Valentine’s Day.

Are you undecided about the dessert you’re going to serve this Monday,
(Valentin’es Day)?
Well allow us to give you a choice from these four cupid-approved treats!

The Four Treats:
Recipe No. 1-
Mini-Cran Cherry Mason Jar Pies!
Ingredients:
2 cans of sweet cherries in syrup (16 oz. cans)
1 can of cranberry sauce (14 oz. can)
2 Tbs. of cornstarch
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
1/4 cup, plus 2 Tbs. of sugar (divided)
1 refrigerated piecrust, (leave on the counter for an hour before baking)
To make:
Heat oven to 400*F. Drain the cherries. In pot over medium heat, bring
the next 3 ingredients and 1/4 cup of sugar to a boil. Remove from heat;
add cherries. Divide among 8 (4 oz.) Mason jars. Using 3″ circle cutter,
cut out 8 rounds from the dough. Using 1 1/2″ heart-shaped cutter, cut
out a heart from each center. Place on top of jars: sprinkle with 2 Tbs.
of sugar. Bake 1 hour; covering with foil halfway through.

Recipe No. 2-
Triple- Chocolate Heart Cakelets-
Ingredients:
1 box of dark chocolate cake mix or fudge cake mix, 16 oz. box
2 sticks of butter
1/2 cup of honey
3/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips, melted
1 bag of red decorating icing *
1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses, Milk chocolate (12 oz.)
1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses White chocolate
To make:
Heat oven to 375*F. Prepare cake mix as it reads on the box.
Divide batter among 12 greased 3″ heart-shaped cake molds.
Bake 25 mins. Let cool. With mixer on medium speed, beat next 4 ingredients.
Frost tops and sides of cakes. Pipe red icing around edges; top with
the Kisses.
* Red Icing- If you’re not able to find this type of Icing, just buy white
frosting and pour a little red into it.
Another tip: You may want to split one of the cakes with your loved one
as each one has 610 calories.

Recipe No. 3-
Sweet-on-you Cheesecake Pops!
No need to buy a whole cheesecake, just serve up these individual
pops.
Ingredients:
1 box of graham crackers crumbs, Or buy a box of graham crackers
and crush them yourself.
4 Tbs. of butter, melted
3 bars of cream cheese, leave out to soften.
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 eggs, plus 2 egg yolks
2 Tbs. of flour
6 oz. of dark chocolate, melted
6 oz. of white chocolate, melted
12 Popsicle sticks, Buy at grocery store, Walmart or go online to
Amazon.com
To make:
Heat oven to 325*F. In a bowl, mix crumbs with butter (to make the crusts)
Press into bottom of foil-lined 9″ springform pan. Bake 8 mins. With mixer
on medium speed, beat next 5 ingredients; pour over crust.Bake 1 hour.
Let cool 1 hr; chill 6 hours. Unmold; cut into 12 slices. Insert Popsicle
stick into each. Pour dark choc. over half the slices and white choc. over
the rest. Decorate as desired.

Recipe No. 4-
Kiss Me-Cookie Sandwiches!
Ingredients:
4 cups of fine almond flour, plus more for rolling
1 egg
1/2 cup of maple syrup
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
6 oz. of semisweet chocolate, melted
1 tube of white Icing
1 tube of red Icing
To make:
Heat oven to 350*f. In a bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. Transfer
half to bowl; stir in cocoa. On floured surface, roll out each dough
to 1/4″ thick. Using 3″ lips-shaped cutter, cut out cookies. Arrange on lined
baking sheet; bake 10 to 12 mins.(keep an eye on them and make sure
they don’t burn). Spread each chocolate cookie with chocolate. Top with
vanilla cookie. Decorate with icing as desired.

That’s it, 4 delicious and easy to make desserts for this
Valentine’s day.
